Scrapbookpal.com
It's me again. If you haven't taken a look at Scrapbookpal.com then you need to. They have great prices and products. They are having a contest right now and the winner gets free Copic Markers. If you don't already know, Copic Markers represent the Cadillac of markers. Be forewarned... these markers are totally addictive. Seems you can never have too many.

Good Morning!
Well I hope today is the day that I am able to post a picture of one of my cards. Cross your fingers.
Ok well that worked. This is a card I made for my Mom for mother's day.
I hope you like it.

Hi Everyone
Well I hate to admit this but I do not know how to post my pictures of my cards on this Blog, so the best I can do is give anyone who wants to take a look a link to my Picture Trail where you can find a bunch of cards I have made along with paintings I have done. So here is the link
http://www.picturetrail.com/dvmc99 I hope you like some of my pictures. If so just leave me a comment and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Dottie 1/06/2011

My First Entry.
Hello, my name is Dottie. My favorite pastime is making personalized hand-made greeting cards. I send my cards to family and friends, but I don't sell them. My card making is a hobby that I thoroughly enjoy. I've been asked many times if I would make cards to sell, but to accept orders and work under deadlines would negate my enjoyment and spontaneity. When a hobby becomes a job it's no longer fun to me.
I have been a Donna Dewberry One Stroke Certified Instructor since 2004. I used to teach painting classes at my local Hobby Lobby store and in my home studio, but that lost its luster. I now only paint for my own pleasure.
My husband is an Electrical Contractor and during the winter months he and I make lots of fabulously scented soy candles to give as gifts to friends, family and to his customers and business associates.
I belong to several card-making and Copic Marker groups. That is why I have started this blog. In all my groups the members share their works with each other through their blogs, but I didn't have one or know how to make one. This blog was started so I could share my own creations with everyone else who has so graciously shared their art work with me. The only reason I am able to do this is because my fifteen year old granddaughter is actually doing it for me. I hope I am able to learn some things from her through the process and one day I may be able to continue this on my own. I hope.
